PBKS will probably be hoping Chahal and Shreyas Iyer will probably be match for the Qualifier 1 conflict in opposition to RCB in Mullanpur on Thursday
Punjab Kings will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2025 at 7.30 PM on Thursday. Shreyas Iyer and co. will have the home advantage, since they are playing in Mullanpur, but by no means will take RCB lightly. After all, Patidar and co. have maintained a perfect away record in this season. PBKS will be aiming to book a berth in the final with a win against RCB.

PBKS will be hoping that Chahal is fit for the tie against RCB. The spinner missed the last two games due to a reported wrist injury. It remains unclear if he will be available for the Qualifier 1`. So far, Chahal has taken 14 wickets from 12 matches and has already taken a hat-trick in this season.
Captain Shreyas Iyer suffered a blow to his index finger in the clash against RR. After the game against MI, the PBKS skipper said that he hopes his finger would be fine in time for the clash against RCB. Iyer has had a phenomenal season so far, having already scored five half-centuries.
PBKS will be pinning their hopes on Josh Inglis to replicate his heroics from the game against MI and go all guns blazing at number 3. The team won’t be able to avail the services of Marco Jansen as the bowler has returned to South Africa to prepare for the WTC final. Omerzai is expected to take his place in the playing XI.
