The Hockey India League Public sale kicked off right now in New Delhi, that includes over 550 gamers. The Day 2 of Public sale will likely be on October 14.
Hockey India League Auction 2024 LIVE: The highly awaited return of the Hockey India League (HIL) has started with the Men’s Auction in New Delhi today. Over 400 Indian and 150 international men’s players are registered for the event and are going under the hammer. The men’s auction is scheduled for the 13th and 14th October, while the women’s auction will take place on the 15th October.
Team Purse and Player Categories
Each team in the HIL will have a budget of ₹4 crores to spend on players, who are divided into three base price categories: ₹2 lakhs, ₹5 lakhs, and ₹10 lakhs. The teams will be picking players over the next two days as they assemble their squads.
Team composition in HIL 2024
Each team must include 24 players in total. This will consist of 16 Indian players, out of which four must be junior players, along with 8 overseas players.

- 14th Oct, 9:30 AM (Men’s Auction)
- 15th Oct, 9:30 AM (Women’s Auction)
