MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has positioned beneath its custody the Russian vlogger, who drew the general public’s ire for harassing Filipinos in Bonifacio International Metropolis (BGC) in Taguig, pending his deportation.
Following the vlogger’s controversial livestream, which went viral on April 1, Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, 33, was arrested and is now beneath custody in BI’s detention facility in Camp Bagong Diwa.
Within the livestream, Zdorovetskiy was seen grabbing a safety guard’s hat, making an attempt to grab the gun of one other safety guard, and threatening to rob a girl.
“Harassment and disruptive habits don’t have any place in our society, and we are going to take swift motion towards offenders,” stated BI commissioner Joel Anthony Viado in an announcement on Thursday.
“Our legal guidelines exist to guard the welfare of Filipinos,” Viado continued.
“Let this function a reminder that whereas we welcome guests, those that fail to respect our individuals and our legal guidelines will face the implications,” he warned.

Zdorovetskiy, sporting a smile in his mugshot, is now an “undesirable international nationwide” within the nation.
