Not long ago, he surpassed Mohammad Azharuddin in ODIs, and now, across all formats for India, he stands at the top, surpassing Dravid in the list. Mohammad Azharuddin sits third with 261 catches, followed by Sachin Tendulkar (256) and Rohit Sharma (229).
In the recent Champions Trophy match against New Zealand, Team India secured a commanding 44-run victory and will now face Australia in the first semi-final of the tournament on March 4 in Dubai.
