LUCENA CITY — Police arrested a drunk man on Tuesday evening for alleged violation of the election gun ban after residents complained of indiscriminate firing in Lucena Metropolis, Quezon.
The Area 4A police reported on Wednesday that policemen nabbed “Felicisimo” in Barangay Ibabang Dupay round 6:30 p.m. when he indiscriminately fired his gun and brought on commotion amongst villagers.
A villager reported the incident to the barangay tanod (village watchmen) who sought help from the native police station, which dispatched cops to the realm.
The suspect was arrested whereas nonetheless holding his caliber .22 revolver and roaming the streets within the village.
Police stated the suspect was drunk when arrested.
