Orioles Designate Nick Avila For Task

The Orioles introduced Wednesday that they’ve designated right-hander Nick Avila for task. His spot on the 40-man roster will go to lefty Cole Irvin, whose beforehand reported promotion from Triple-A Norfolk has now been formally introduced.
