Two Aussie tennis stars shone brightly in Sydney this week to be topped Australian Professional Tour singles champions on the 2024 Perpetual NSW Open.

Recent off her history-making ITF Junior World Tour Finals victory, 16-year-old Emerson Jones cemented her identify as a rising star of the long run, whereas 28-year-old established star Thanasi Kokkinakis reminded us of his credentials as he returned to the winners’ circle.

The NSW Open was Kokkinakis’ seventh ATP Challenger title, his first in Australia, and noticed him hovering again into the world’s high 80 this week within the ATP rankings.
