The IPL 2025 was halted for every week on Might 9.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the restart date of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. The tournament was halted for 1 week on May 9 due to the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan. The BCCI had advised the players to return home, both foreign and Indian, until further informed.

The tournament will resume on May 17, with the remaining 17 matches to be played across 6 venues (Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad), and the IPL 2025 Final will be played on June 3 instead of the original date of May 25.
The BCCI has announced the revised schedule of IPL 2025. Only two doubleheaders will be played on Sundays, May 18 and May 25. Qualifier 1 will be played on May 29, the Eliminator on May 30 and Qualifier 2 on June 1.
PBKS vs DC match to be replayed
Since the BCCI has announced that 17 matches will be played, we now know that the Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals match, which was the 58th match of the IPL 2025 season, will be replayed. It was called off after 10.2 overs into the match and only makes sense it’ll start from scratch on May 24 in Jaipur.
