After beating China 3-0 in the tournament opener, Harmanpreet Singh and co. further asserted their dominance, handing Japan a 5-1 defeat. India are currently on top of the standings with 6 points to their name. Malaysia are 5th on the standings, with one loss and draw each.

The 2024 edition of the Asian Champions Trophy will be held in Hulunbuir, China, from September 8-17. The competing nations are — China (hosts), India, Pakistan, South Korea, Japan, and Malaysia. All the teams will play each other in the league stages, progressing to the semi-final & then final.
