Catch how Hardik Pandya may lineup his Mumbai Indians (MI) group within the conflict in opposition to Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Jaipur
Mumbai Indians (MI) have a golden chance of soaring up to the top of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 points table. For a team who started four defeats in their first five matches, it’s a massive thing. Hardik Pandya and his men can go past the likes of RCB and PBKS if they win against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Jaipur, where MI have won just two out of eight games.

MI vs RR: Hardik Pandya to go with same playing XI?
Mumbai Indians made two changes in their previous match against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Mitchell Santner was injured, thus making way for debutant Corbin Bosch. Also, Karn Sharma came in for Vignesh Puthur. There has been no update on Santner’s availability. Also, Jaipur isn’t a ground where there would be massive turn and bounce, hence Santner might not be needed that dearly.
Bosch had a superb debut game in Mumbai, where he first hit a valuable 10-ball 20 before showing terrific death bowling skills. He bowled four overs in the later half of the innings and leaked runs at just 6.50 economy and also took one wicket. Karn Sharma, meanwhile, is expected to play as a sole specialist spinner. Will Jacks and Naman Dhir could also roll their arm over when Pandya will need some off-spin against a left-handed dominated RR batting lineup.
Mumbai Indians’ Predicted Playing XI
S. No. | Player |
---|---|
1 | Rohit Sharma |
2 | Ryan Rickelton (wk) |
3 | Will Jacks |
4 | Suryakumar Yadav |
5 | Tilak Varma |

7 | Naman Dhir |
8 | Corbin Bosch |
9 | Karn Sharma |
10 | Trent Boult |
11 | Deepak Chahar |
12 | Jasprit Bumrah |
The rest of the MI team is absolutely settled and there are no such changes they should make. Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton have gelled well in recent matches, with Suryakumar Yadav coming with a terrific form on his back. Will he continue his streak of scoring 25+ in every game? Will Jacks, Tilak Varma and Naman Dhir provide more options, while captain Pandya himself add muscle. The troika of Trent Boult, Deepak Chahar and Jasprit Bumrah, as expected, has been doing wonders as well.
