Smriti Mandhana likes love songs and never Punjabi songs, which may be exhausting to grasp because the Indian cricket workforce is a fan of Punjabi music.
Smriti Mandhana has an unpopular opinion that will shock everyone. The Indian star doesn’t like Punjabi songs and believes that people who enjoy Punjabi tracks have unusual song choices.
Mandhana attended the BCCI Naman Awards on Saturday in Mumbai, where Hardik Pandya asked her about her song choices, leading to a surprising revelation from her.
Smriti Mandhan likes sad songs
Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya asked Mandhana, during a discussion with Rohit Sharma and Jemimah Rodrigues also on the panel, about her playlist and the songs she likes.
“I am the last person to create a playlist. My songs are either love songs or sad songs. Before a match, I prefer listening to these rather than Punjabi tracks. I don’t enjoy Punjabi songs—I know everyone might disagree, but I find them a bit weird. I’m not a big fan of them. Since many girls like Punjabi songs, I feel they have unusual taste in music,” she said.
