Ex-Tesda chief vies for gov of Maguindanao del Norte

COTABATO CITY — Former Technical Training and Expertise Improvement Authority (Tesda) Director Normal Suharto Mangudadatu is eyeing to turn into the primary elected governor of the nation’s youngest province, Maguindanao del Norte.

Mangudadatu was accompanied by his spouse, reelectionist Maguindanao del Sur Gov. Bai Mariam Sangki-Mangudadatu, his 4 youngsters, and supporters when he filed his certificates of candidacy (COC) on Friday afternoon.

Mangudadatu’s operating mate, former Maguindanao Vice Gov. Bai Ainee Sinsuat, had earlier filed her COC.

In his assertion after submitting his candidacy, Mangudadatu appealed for unity amongst all tribes within the province.

“If elected I’ll rework Maguindanao del Norte as probably the most progressive province in Bangsamoro Autonomous Area in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) like what I did to Sultan Kudarat,” Mangudadatu instructed reporters.

Mangudadatu served as Sultan Kudarat governor, a submit handed to him by his father and is now held by his son. He was elected mayor of Lutayan, Sultan Kudarat and was additionally its consultant in Congress.
