LOS ANGELES — Jack Flaherty went seven scoreless innings, Shohei Ohtani had two hits and scored twice, and the Los Angeles Dodgers rolled to a 9-0 victory over the visiting New York Mets in Recreation 1 of the Nationwide League Championship Collection on Sunday.
Daniel Hudson and Ben Casparius every pitched an inning for the Dodgers, who prolonged their scoreless streak to 33 consecutive innings to tie a postseason document. Los Angeles has not allowed a run because the second inning of Recreation 3 within the NL Division Collection towards the San Diego Padres.
Mookie Betts had a three-run double, Max Muncy had a two-run single and Freddie Freeman had two hits with an RBI whereas enjoying on a sprained proper ankle because the Dodgers received their fifth consecutive sport over the Mets going again to the common season.
Flaherty (1-1) gave up two hits with two walks and 6 strikeouts.
