The Indianapolis Colts have apologized for a since-deleted video posted to their social media platforms following the discharge of the NFL’s regular-season schedule on Wednesday.

“We eliminated our schedule launch video as a result of it exceeded our rights with Microsoft and included an insensitive clip involving Dolphins extensive receiver Tyreek Hill. We sincerely apologize to Microsoft and Tyreek,” the staff stated in a press release to a number of shops on Thursday.

The video revealed the Colts’ season-opening recreation towards the Miami Dolphins with the picture of a dolphin sporting a No. 10 jersey and labeled “Hill” swimming alongside earlier than being stopped by a Coast Guard boat with a siren.

Hill was pulled over exterior of Laborious Rock Stadium in Miami simply hours earlier than the Dolphins’ season opener towards the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sept. 8, 2024. He was taken to the bottom by police, handcuffed and issued two site visitors citations that have been later dropped.

Per the Microsoft rights violation, it seemingly stems from the truth that the company bought Mojang, the agency behind the favored recreation Minecraft. The photographs used within the Colts’ video carefully resemble these of the sport.
