Coldplay! Rohit Sharma’s India depart for Narendra Modi Stadium for 1st time since ODI World Cup last

Workforce India have already clinched the 3-match ODI collection towards England after successful in Nagpur and Cuttack.

Everyone remembers the infamous night of November 19, 2023, when a certain player named Travis Head broke the hearts of every Indian. The mighty Australian hammered a match-winning century, leading the Men in Yellow to their sixth ODI World Cup as Rohit Sharma’s India faltered the only time in the campaign, which proved to be heart-rending. But now, the Men in Blue will enter the Narendra Modi Stadium once again to play the 3rd ODI against England.

On February 9, Team India enthralled the fans in Cuttack, with Rohit Sharma stepping up to the occasion. The Indian skipper, who was under immense pressure due to his poor form. However, he put all this behind and launched a scathing attack, hammering a match-winning 119. Shreyas Iyer, Shubman Gill and Axar Patel also played with intent, while Ravindra Jadeja once again claimed a three-fer.

The iconic Narendra Modi Stadium, formerly known as Motera Stadium, will host the third one-day international on February 13 (Wednesday). India already have the series in pocket but won’t be putting their gaurd down. This match would be the last dress rehearsal before the ICC Champions Trophy, as Rohit Sharma’s men won’t be playing any warm-up game for the Champions Trophy as well.
