The six from Virat Kohli’s bat to Haris Rauf on the MCG is what the pacer is remembered by.
Haris Rauf is raring to have a crack at Virat Kohli. The India vs. Pakistan match is less than a week away, but no one can wait for it. The pacer doesn’t have great memories of going against the former Indian captain. Kohli had snatched victory from the jaws of defeat against Pakistan at the 2022 T20 World Cup.
The momentum was in Pakistan’s favour, but Kohli’s twin sixes to Rauf changed everything. Now, the fast bowler wants to flip the outcome. The arch-rivals will meet on February 23 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium for their ICC Champions Trophy clash.

Haris Rauf ready for Virat Kohli battle
Although Rauf wanted to win, he didn’t hold back from praising the opponent. He shared that the two have shared a few jokes since, and the rivalry remains on the field. Rauf added that one can learn from someone of Kohli’s stature, even though they are on opposite sides.
“I have played a lot of cricket against him, and we have a good bond. You can learn from a player of his stature,’ Haris Rauf said in a media session.
Rauf will enjoy the challenge of facing Kohli, as he’s someone who’s regarded as one of the best ODI batters of all time. “Everyone in the world praises him because of the kind of player he is, and I enjoy the challenge of bowling to him,” Rauf added.
