Buttler-Sudharsan star as soon as once more, Siraj makes RCB repent for non-retention

GT stay on the identical spot, 4, on the IPL 2025 factors desk, however RCB transfer right down to quantity three.

Gujarat Titans (GT) have claimed their second consecutive win of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. The Shubman Gill-led side has beaten the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Rajat Patidar hadn’t lost a match as captain before today, but GT changed that with an easy 8-wicket victory.

GT Player Rating vs RCB

Mohammed Siraj, 10/10: Redemption. Siraj was on fire on his former home ground. He made RCB repent for not retaining him. The pacer claimed 3 wickets and gave away just 19 runs. These scalps were Phil Salt, Devdutt Padikkal and Liam Livingstone.

Jos Buttler, 10/10: What a performance. Remained unbeaten on 73 (39). Took each RCB bowler down. His form has improved as we move, and like Sudharsan, he’s very much in the race for the orange cap. Buttler has been struggling for fast starts of late, but today he was at his vintage best.

Sai Sudharsan, 9/10: Another solid innings from the southpaw opener. Sai is the second highest scorer of IPL 2025 after his 49 (36). His strike rate may not seem impressive, but GT were chasing just 170. They needed him to anchor, and that’s what he did. Buttler on the other end played the anchor role.

Shubman Gill, 4/10: Unlike the last couple of innings, Gill didn’t give GT a good start this time. Got out for 14 (14). Luckily, Sudharsan and Buttler got them home.

Sai Kishore, 10/10: Built pressure on RCB in the middle overs. Bowled 4 on the trot, and despite Livingstone getting dropped off his bowling, took the wickets of Jitesh Sharma and Krunal Pandya. Gave away just 22 runs. He might be the best spinner till now in the IPL 2025 season.

Rashid Khan, 1/10: The leg spinner recorded his second-worst figures of his IPL career. Was thrashed by Livingstone all over the park. Ended with the figures of 4-0-54-0.

Prasidh Krishna, 9/10: Continued his great form. Gave away just 26 runs in 4 overs. Got the wicket of Tim David on the last ball of the first innings. The wicket may not mean much to some, but it’s better than giving away even one run.

Sherfane Rutherford, 9/10: Played second fiddle to Buttler and finished the match with a maximum.

Arshad Khan, 5/10: Got the prized wicket of Virat Kohli in the second over of the match. But was hit for 11 runs in his next over and wasn’t give chance with the ball.

Ishant Sharma, 3/10: Got the wicket of Rajat Patidar but leaked 27 runs in 2 overs. Had he been economical, RCB would not have even scored 160 runs.
