The 14th version of the Massive Bash League (BBL) is ready to kick off on December 15, promising thrilling cricket motion. Organized by Cricket Australia, this 12 months’s event will characteristic eight franchises battling it out throughout 44 matches in 11 venues across the nation.
The competing groups – Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Warmth, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder – will every play 10 league matches, contributing to a 40-game league section.
On the conclusion of the league stage, the highest 4 groups within the standings will advance to the playoffs. The highest two will conflict within the Qualifier, with the winner securing a direct berth within the remaining, scheduled for January 27, 2025. In the meantime, the third and fourth-placed groups will compete within the Knockout for an opportunity to remain in competition. The Knockout winner will then face the Qualifier loser within the Challenger, with the victor incomes the remaining spot within the remaining.
Defending champions Brisbane Warmth will look to copy their success after clinching their second title final season with a dominant victory over Sydney Sixers within the BBL|13 remaining.
