Darius Acuff Jr., rated as a five-star recruit, the No. 1 level guard and No. 4 total prospect within the Class of 2025 per 247Sports, formally dedicated to play for John Calipari at Arkansas on Friday.
Calipari, who left Kentucky for Arkansas in April, landed his first 2025 recruit with the Razorbacks since signing a five-year contract value $7 million per season.
Acuff, who introduced his determination on YouTube, selected the Razorbacks over Kansas and Michigan. The 6-3, 180-pound Detroit native can also be a composite five-star recruit, per 247Sports.
Acuff had trimmed his listing to Arkansas, Kansas, Michigan and UConn on the finish of June, then eliminated the two-time defending nationwide champions earlier than Friday’s announcement.
“My official go to went properly. I’ve a superb relationship with John Calipari,” Acuff advised 247Sports. “I took a go to to Kentucky and I took a go to to Arkansas.
