Lincoln Saltdogs infielder Alex Baeza and Winnipeg Goldeyes starter Joey Matulovich received the American Affiliation’s Pointstreak batter and pitcher of the week for the ultimate week of the primary half ending 7/21, the league announce Monday.
Baeza earned the award largely on account of arguably the very best single-game efficiency of the season on Sunday evening in Cleburne. In a 17-8 win for Lincoln, Baeza went an ideal 5-for-5 whereas hitting for the cycle and driving in six runs.
