MANILA, Philippines – Ten out of 12 administration-backed senatorial aspirants for the 2025 midterm elections secured the highest spots within the newest senatorial choice survey performed by the Social Climate Stations (SWS).
The September 14 to 23 survey, commissioned by the Stratbase Group, confirmed that ACT-CIS Celebration-list Consultant Erwin Tulfo maintained his primary place with 54 % voter choice.
Former Senate President Vicente Sotto III ranked second with 34 %, whereas Senator Pia Cayetano adopted intently in third place with 31 %.
Tied within the fourth to fifth positions have been Senator Imee Marcos, the President’s sister; and former President Rodrigo Duterte, each receiving 25 % of voter choice.
Different administration-endorsed candidates within the high ranks embrace former Senator Panfilo Lacson and Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., who tied for the sixth to seventh spots with 24 % every.
Finishing the highest 12 senatorial aspirants backed by the administration have been Las Piñas Metropolis Rep. Camille Villar (21 %), Makati Metropolis Mayor Abigail Binay (20 %), Senator Manuel “Lito” Lapid (20 %), and former Senator Manny Pacquiao (18 %).

Sharing the eleventh to thirteenth place with Pacquiao have been senators Christopher “Bong” Go and Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.

Native Authorities Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. and Senate Majority Chief Francis Tolentino, who’re members of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), have been the one administration-backed senatorial aspirants who didn’t make it within the successful circle of the SWS September survey.
The commissioned survey concerned face-to-face interviews with 1,500 respondents nationwide, representing key areas together with Metro Manila, Stability Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The SWS survey has a nationwide sampling error margin of ±2.5% and better margins for sub-national areas.
The Stratbase Group commissioned this survey to gauge voter sentiment forward of the election season.
President Marcos has vouched for the competence of his most well-liked senatorial candidates, saying they’d assist him in attaining his targets for the nation.
